Support and actively encourage the Square Dance Movement which includes Square, Round, Contra, Clogging and Line Dancing in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area.
Establish a line of communication for clubs in the area to alleviate conflicting dances and/or events. Provide a forum for clubs to share ideas and desires. Aid in the dissemination of information pertaining to member club events and provide information to club members and visiting dancers to find events to dance at.
Provide for education to further the growth and enjoyment of Square Dancing and related activities.
Encourage cooperation between member clubs and organizations, involved or interested in the promotion of Square Dancing.
Represent Square Dancing to the general public as a wholesome, enjoyable family type recreation.
